Baby Joey is here, but it was a difficult entry into the world! After laboring for about 18 hours and pushing for about 2 hours, the doctor determined that Joseph was stuck. Sometime during the labor he turned over and was coming out face first when his head became lodged in the birth canal. So the doctor decided that a c-section was needed. After a quick surgery, Joseph was safely delivered at 6:14 pm. He gave it his all--but he looked like he'd been in a boxing match when he arrived! Lots of bruises and a cut near his left eye. You'll see how fast he improves though...
