Finally Spring!

Spring has finally arrived in Omaha! Joey loves playing outside and had a blast today playing catch with the ball in the back yard. He was especially excited when a neighbor's cat walked over for a visit. Joey repeatedly squatted down to be at eye level with the cat for some feline conversation.

California Vacation

We returned yesterday from a week in California. We all had a nice time visiting with family and friends and enjoying the perfect weather--it was sunny and about 80 degrees every day. Joey loved spending time outside and had a great time visiting the LA Zoo and the Travel Town museum where he explored some big trains. He also loved playing with his cousins, Tara and Alexander.

Off to Cali...

Joey and his parents leave for LA tomorrow. In preparation for the trip, Joey has been trying on some of his warm-weather clothing to see what fits since he has only rarely seen 40 degrees in the past three months. I'm still trying to convince him that the white tube socks may not be the way to go. We'll return on Saturday, March 20.
