Gym Class!

Joey started a new activity today: My Gym! It's a fun-filled 45-minute weekly class for parents and babies and the babies get to do lots of fun tumbling exercises. We thought it might be an appropriate outlet for all of Joey's energy. Sure enough, he loved it.

Supervising the Yard Work

We've been working with some landscaping people (including Poppy) to make some improvements to our yard. It's been a fun project selecting new plants and trees and watching it all come together. Joey has been quite the supervisor spending lots of time watching the workers from the sun room.

Sharing an Apple with Dad

Joey loves apples and he won't let his dad eat one without getting in a few bites of his own. Every time Joey's dad tries to eat an apple, Joey crawls up to him and begs like a little puppy. It's so cute.

Fun Outdoors

Halfway between Omaha and Lincoln there is a nice golf course with a restaurant that serves Joey's favorite food: french fries. Last night, we met Nanny and Poppy for dinner and Joey had fun playing outside after dinner. He's still not sure what to think of grass.

New Friends

Joey's dad started his new job this morning.  This past weekend, one of the doctors who will be working with Joey's dad invited the three of us over for a dinner party.  Once again, Joey loved hanging out with the ladies...

Ten Months Old Today!

Joey turns ten months old today--his first monthly birthday celebration in his new home! We have been busy lately with the move and are just coming up for air after sorting through lots of boxes. We finally have internet service, phone, and cable and are starting to feel a little more settled. Joey loves his new home and is loving having more space here.

First Trip to the Zoo

Joey went to the zoo for the first time today with his parents and his grandparents. We all had a wonderful time seeing the "Joeys" (baby kangaroos) and the other animals. Joey loved the trip and his highlight was the train ride at the end of the visit.
