Big Boy Bed!!!

About a month ago, Joey moved from his nursery and crib to a new room and a new big boy bed. Joey can be a real creature of habit and we were all a little nervous for this transition since he had done so well in his crib. We have been so pleased with his progress! He loves his new room and bed. He has stayed in his room every night and has taken naps in his room every day. When he wakes up in the morning he turns the lights on all by himself and then reads in his bed until we come to get him. We are still decorating the new room--new lamp shades and window treatments are on the way. And of course there are about 800 of his closest "friends" from Toy Story, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Sesame Street who share his bed. But so far, so good. With so many changes in Joey's world coming, we're happy he's adapted so well to his new room and transitioned from the crib to a big bed.

Fun in the Water!

It's been hot in Nebraska lately! While this weather is less than ideal for Joey's pregnant-with-twins mommy, Joey's been trying to stay cool by playing in the water and eating popsicles.

Joey's First Bicycle

Some of our friends have a little boy who has outgrown his bike and they offered to give it to Joey. Joey was so excited when he saw this new bike! He can't quite reach the pedals, but he's having lots of fun trying to ride and being pushed around. He looks so much older now!
