We're considering a trip to Canada this summer so we got Joey his very own passport. His picture looks like a little mug shot.

Cousin Love

Joey just returned from a weekend in Houston. We met up with Joey's cousin JAC and his aunties and visited Joey's great-grandparents. It was a very fun weekend and Joey especially loved spending time with JAC. Joey was quite affectionate with little JAC. Lots of hugs and kisses.

Minbee!!!

I have gone back to work on a very part-time basis, we're talking like 8-10 hours a week. I'm working as a family therapist and am really enjoying it. We've hired a part-time nanny/babysitter who stays with Joey on Monday and Wednesday afternoons while I'm working. Her name is Mindy and Joey LOVES her! He calls her "Minbee!" They have great fun at the park, drawing with chalk, watching "Yo Gabba Gabba" , and chasing birds. She is really becoming a part of the family.

And we've discovered ketchup...

After our trip to the zoo, we stopped at Louie M's Burger Lust cafe which is owned by our neighbors, Louie and Trish. Joey was curious about the ketchup so we let him try it. Before long he was dipping his fries and licking off the ketchup and then went to just spooning it off of the plate. This could get messy...

Zoo Trip

Joey's dad took his Board exams a couple of weeks ago and he passed! We are so proud of him and so glad to be doing fun things together as a family since he no longer has to study so much. This morning, we went to the zoo and Joey and his dad both loved it! Joey loves chasing the goats and was quite intrigued with the big gorilla.

First Baseball Game

Joey attended his first baseball game last night. This picture was taken during the ten seconds he was actually sitting for the game. The rest of the game was spent climbing up and down all of the stairs in the stadium.

New foods!

Joey has always been a picky eater. Lately, he's been expanding his tastes and trying some new foods and while he always prefers French fries, sometimes he'll surprise us. Here he is last night at dinner enjoying a Greek salad...
