Joey's World is Expanding!!!

Joey is excited to announce that he will soon be a big brother! And two times over! We are excited to announce that our family is growing as we are expecting twins sometime in mid to late August! We had an in-depth ultrasound and met with a perinatologist this afternoon and got to see the babies for some time. Both babies look great--they are growing well and have strong heartbeats. It's a little too early to tell the gender for certain, but the doctor was pretty convinced that Baby A is a boy and Baby B is a girl! We will have another ultrasound in about six weeks and should get a definite answer. Here are some pictures from the ultrasound today...

Fun Day!

It was a beautiful day today in Omaha with temperatures reaching the upper 60s. Joey and I enjoyed a fun afternoon outing to the park and to share a cupcake. He had so much fun playing on the slide and running around. He insisted on wearing his sunglasses when we put him to bed and repeatedly said, "I am a cool dude". It was nice to have a little break from the winter weather and we're really looking forward to the spring.
