Play Time

Joey had a fun weekend playing with some new toys including a new bouncy ball that he enjoyed rolling back and forth with his dad.  He's so much fun now engaging in more interactive play and sitting up so well!

Joey had a fun Friday as he had a special play date with his friend, Amira. Amira and Joey played at her house for a while and then visited the park. At her house, Joey loved exploring Amira's toys and flirting with her. She shared very nicely and was a wonderful host.

After Joey and Amira played at her house, we all went to the park and Joey tried the swings for the first time.  He loved playing at the park and enjoyed the nice spring day in Baltimore.

Joey's California Vacation: San Diego

Joey just returned from his vacation to California.   He spent the first three days of the trip in San Diego where he visited the beach for the first time! The weather was great and we all had a wonderful time.

Joey's California Vacation: Los Angeles

After our visit to San Diego, we drove to Los Angeles where we spent a week with Joey's California family. Joey had so much fun getting spoiled by his grandparents and hanging out with his cousins.

To the Beach...

Joey is headed to California this afternoon with his parents.  His dad has a meeting in San Diego so we'll spend a few days there and then head to LA to spend the week with Joey's grandparents.  The blog will be on hiatus for about ten days.  See you when we return!

Graduation Day

Joey and I had our final new moms/new babies group this morning.  Since Joe will be six months old later this week, he successfully graduated from the new babies program.  Here we are with the group's wonderful facilitator, Emily.  Emily is also a doula who taught our childbirth class back in August.  It was so fun to have her get to know Joe and watch him grow from birth.  We loved our Monday morning group and the wonderful friends we met.  Stay tuned for updates about Joey's new classes which will include music, library time, and swimming!

Saying Goodbye

Joey recently had a play date with his friend Zachary.  At the end of the visit, the two boys didn't want to say goodbye and Zachary peered at Joey from his front door and waved.  He was so cute with his nose squished up against the door.
