Big Day

Joey had a big day today. He got another haircut this morning and then we bought his first pair of sandals.

Trip to Nashville...

Joey and I just returned from a weekend in Nashville where we visited Joey's cousin, JAC and his family. Nanny and Poppy came too. Here are some picture highlights from the weekend. Our first stop was the Nashville Zoo where both boys enjoyed a leisurely stroller ride, a visit with the chickens, a merry-go-round ride, and the goats.

JAC's Birthday!

The main reason for our visit to Nashville was, of course, JAC's first birthday. We remember visiting exactly one year ago when he was born and Joey thought this year was much more fun because JAC had a really fun birthday party. Joey loved eating the Pirate's Booty at the party which happens to be his favorite snack. He also loved the balloon guy who made Joey a special Elmo balloon.

Quality Cousin Time

Joey's favorite part of the trip was spending some quality time with his cousin JAC. Joey was very sweet with his cousin--he gave him lots of hugs and kisses, shared his toys pretty well, and enjoyed having snacks with JAC. They are very cute together.
